so here are a few bits and pieces of the new playroom….still have some stuff to get on the walls and the new potterybarn hanging TENT just arrived so its obviously not up yet. however i can tell it will be a huge hit bc while we were holding it up to determine where it will go the girls were laughing and giggling inside of it, heehee, i love that sound….so a few things i learned along the way:
– do not buy a wire basket to attach to your magnetic wall to hold magnets. almost 3 year olds will not be happy when her fingers cant get ALL of the magnets out. (yes i am a genius you dont need to remind me, lol!) and yes we have a small wall that is magnetic now!
– even when you think you are sure on a paint color do not buy the gallon until you have put it on your wall and a sure you are sure. they make the sample sizes for a reason!
– i can prime and paint repaint an entire room in under an hour. yes i may be for hire, lol
– we seriously have waaaay too many toys. see those baskets? well they are for real full and i still had to “remove” some of the toys for these pics, lol
– and last but most importantly, it is truly DIVINE to have a playroom that has a door to close that shuts the toy tornado right behind it. sigh….
