remember the sneak peek to cheeks #2’s big third birthday party HERE? and then the teaser a few days ago HERE? well party peeps…here are the party pics for those of you who couldnt join us…
the whole tablescape….
party info:
clearly the party was themed after the movie princess and the frog but i decided to base the jazz brunch party on the adorable frog silhouette that i comissioned my dear friend erika jessop to design and fleur de lis silhouettes. since its been so awfully hot in texas i knew i wanted to keep the party going by having stations of activities for all of the guests INSIDE IN THE AC sooooo…as you walked in there was a “crown yourself station” with an elegant chair fit for a princess sitting in front of a huge mirror and table lined with jars filled to the brim with magic wands, tiaras, “diamond earrings” and rings. the next station was a “sparkle your spoon” station to represent princess tiana’s love for baking beignets. glitter glue, stick on diamonds and ribbons were ready to be used to decorate the wooden spoons for each guest. the third station was the kiss your frog station where each princess could smooch or smack their little green critter and take him home!!! and finally the “build your own breakfast gumbo” station was filled with a variety of kids loved cereals and take out box so each guest could take their breakfast gumbo home.
the main food table includes everything from bite sized cinnamon rolls, waffle sticks sitting atop shots of syrup and of course REAL LEGIT beignets among may other yummies!!!! there was of couse a wet your whistle station that had jars of chocolcate milk regular milk, oj and mimosas for the mommy’s queens!
of course as any royal party woudl the girls had a sit down dinner complete with all paper plates etc AND MY FAV PART OF THE PARTY, the plastic silverware bundles i tied together with napkin “rings” made of paper with quotes from the movie on each one, kind of like your own little fortune!!!!
the beyond incredible cookie pops, frog prince cookies and fluer de lis cookies were made by my amazing friend renee from bees knees creative FUR REAL people these are as good as they are beautiful its hard for me to believe she mailed them to me!
the ridiculously perfect fondant tiaras and frog prince were from my friend charynn from two sugar babies who seriously makes art with fondant
the legit beingets were from crescent city grill in downtown h-town
the paper goods, poms and place settings were all made by me
tiaras, wands, rings, earrings, etc all from hobby lobby and target
PRINCE NAVEEN FROGS: disney store
BIRTHDAY GIRLS PARTY DRESS was designed my another phenomenal friend and AHMAYZING childrens clothing designer jayme from lillipop designs
