So im not really sure where to begin with this post…My sweet friend melissa, who owns the most awesome restaurant here in spring, The bake shoppe and cafe, asked me to go out on a limb and try something a little different with her entire family…While i was intrigued i was scared to death…i DO NOT SHOOT extended families it just doesn’t suit my type of photography, i like intimate moments, lots of snuggles and giggles galore, plus large groups intimidate me, duh thats why i only have two kids, ha. Well this family has had a tough year filled with difficult losses and unexpected trials and they wanted to take some time to CELEBRATE. They wanted to celebrate life, they wanted to celebrate the moment of their past and moments yet to come…yeah how could i say no right?!
well melissa is a little genius of a stylist and after tons of emails texts and brainstorming we knew we wanted a family style picnic setting in the most special place to the entire family, sweet ms connie’s lush backyard. Well as you can see the immaculate stylings that float around in melissa’s genius little brain took over and….well…the night…the night was FULL and just perfect (well minus darn mosquitos) ha
i will most likely sneak another part of this session bc ummmm hello this setup was beyond dazzling, don’t ya think?
