“pretend I’m not here”
“ignore me please”
“just let things happen”
I often think it, and sometimes even say it to you but it’s so hard to HEAR ME when I say it, like really hear me! Y’all I’m going to be real here, its legit hard to meet someone and have them point a camera in your face…inevitably your kids do WHAT ALL KIDS DO when you arrive to a photoshoot, they transform into the most different weird insane version of themselves, like I’m talking head spinning c-r-a-z-y people, haha am i right?! and you know THAT IS OKAY…im going to say it again, ITS OKAY! i know you want the most perfectly perfect picture you can imagine in your head but is that YOU? is that your family? because ill raise my hand right here and stand up and shout from the rooftops THAT IS NOT ME, and that most certainly IS NOT MY FAMILY! in fact let me tell you a little secret…THAT’S NOT ANYONE’S FAMILY! and when we can’t take that deep breathe in of the idea of perfection and blow it out as far away from us as we can, then we all feel like we are drowning…so just breathe…
I have been sharing so many examples of what the “perfect” photoshoot is to me lately, and its not the smile at the camera and look like supermodels photo, nope its when a photo, like one simple photo, RADIATES LOVE! LIKE YOU CAN FEEL it though the computer y’all! let me introduce you to what this means! this family lets life be…sunshine follows them or maybe its that sunshine radiates from within them! they love each other y’all but they love HARD! life isn’t easy for them but they make living look easy! THEY ARE LOVE to me! and i am lucky enough to be invited into their world to capture it! thank you for that K and B i am forever grateful for people like you <3
this is perfect natural photoshoot 😉 I love it so much . And I am jealous about this view you have Shalonda!
