City Lights

Who knew that bar bokeh is so dang incredible in downtown houston was so spectacular?!  Y’all it has truly been years since I have shot in downtown houston and to be honest it’s been even longer since I’ve shot family sessions down here!  You know me I am a creature of habit and I just don’t leave my little bubble of suburbia but I am definitely going to be taking some downtown adventures a little more often!  Over the summer I visited this sweet little spot and am just in love with the way our city is splashed with color!  Plus this city looks good with those neon lights hahaha!

Did you say urban Mini Sessions?

Yep I sure did!  So let’s talk about who this session is best for…It’s best for families with kids that are a little bit older, you see, toddlers and a super busy street that is a curb step away aren’t really a good combination.  If you have kids that need to run this type of location is certainly not your best option, a session like THIS is a better fit for your tribe. IF you are a lover of bright bold rich colors THEN THIS IS YOUR SPOT because houston is filled with bright colors bars and gorgeous graffiti galore around every single corner!  Bold colors plus city traffic at any time of the day (yep I’m sure you drive in it often) make the perfect new backdrop!

Jeans…

If you are a jean mom, not so much a dress mom, then HELLLLOOOOO this is your jam!  Jeans and heels are super cute booties are the perfect pairing for this spot!  But don’t worry I worked with each of the clients to find the perfect clothes for their taste and this location.
