Busy Season versus the Best of Intentions

You know it never fails, as a photographer you go into busy season with the best of intentions….you are all blogging is my jam, sleep is for the weak and I can survive on coffee alone….then oct happens…and suddenly you look like one of those zombie meme’s! Your blog hasn’t been updated since before Halloween and well you, in fact can NOT survive on coffee and no sleep.  Then January rolls around and unless you live in Texas (which news flash I DO) you get a break because the weather is terrifying, again UNLESS you live in Texas where snow is laughable and everything is still neon green from constant rain and mid ranged temps. ha Long live the texas photographers y’all!  can i get a what what?!  because we bust it year round!

Dates don’t matter but Christmas Cards do...

So in reality these images could have been taken yesterday because most of my spots still look exactly the same hahahaha but I for sure had to hold off on blogging so I didn’t ruin anyone’s Christmas cards…so technically what that means is that my last of blogging is entirely 100% my clients faults 🙂 hahahahaha okay okay it might have had a little to do with my lack of sleep and boatload of editing but hey we will go with it.

The Unposed Family

So without further adieu I bring you one of my favorite simple sessions of the fall 2018 season!  What is an unposed family session you ask?  yeah i can read your mind…well it’s THIS!  it’s a normal simple family session…this means no stress, no frustration…it means FUN, playing, games…it means VACATION MOM is coming to the party!!  do you know her?  she is fun and lets her kids eat dessert before dinner and maybe even forgets what time bed time is!
