No Magic Potion to Stop Time But…
While there is certainly no magic potion to stop time you can certainly freeze the moments that make up the childhood of your sweeties! but guess what?! The Imagination Age
This age range is a little different for each child but typically starts ramping up and getting big and brilliant around 3 years old. It only grows and gets even more exciting with every month and tends to start to slow down around 9, as they become more aware of the world around them and start to build up that “adult filter”. I have had all about me sessions as early as age two and three and as late as age 10 like this one in minute maid park, heck I have even had clients book one every single year!
The Milestones
We live in Houston Texas Y’all, and High school senior portraits are a BIG DEAL! Maybe its a southern thing but it’s been this way since I was born so this isn’t a trend, this is a real deal, capture it and remember it forever kind of thing. I always tell my clients that while All about me sessions can occur anytime during the “imagination age range” there is ONE absolute perfect time to book one…when your child turns 5 years old or the year before your sweet baby heads of to kindergarten. Once school starts life seems to move in fast forward and they are starting middle school before you blink! This is also the time that they really have a solid personality and real opinions on everything from their clothes to their favorite book.
