There is a always something special about when a family asks me to photograph them in their own home, its where they eat, sleep, live and most importantly its where they are most confortably themselves. The every day place that they have chosen to settle, to grow roots, and to write the everyday chapters that make up their lives. when miss m’s mom called me way back when, to photograph them out on their land i was booked and she said no biggie we will wait for you. and they did, they waited all the way until lastnight and i am so thankful they did! i could not have been more in awe of the amazing things on and around where they lived…i mean seriously we jumped on a new big girl bed, rode a horse (them not me!), “drove” a tractor and a old bug, we even hung out in a hammock! yep all of these thing were right there where they lived!!!!
However putting all of that photog’s dream stuff aside, they were quite simply the most sugary sweet, aggie family of three…this photog’s second dream….So in a nutshell lastnight was a dream come true! Thank you mom, dad and miss m, i has so much fun with yall…enjoy!

those first two are my favorites. As always, you work magic with color. Next question…how on earth do you get such yummy skin tones? I struggle with natural skin tones so much 🙁
