I know yall are sick of wiping away my woe is me s I know yall are sick of wiping away my woe is me senior mom tears… listen if you think it’s bad here feel sorry for my family because they had to do back to back high school seniors years with me. They are the real VIP’s. Okaaaaay but seriously if there ever was a photographer that understands you moms and high school senior girls out there it’s this one! Two daughters, back to back senior years, both going/gone through sorority recruitment at two different SEC schools, a dorm decor pro and college t shirt mini session planner extraordinaire … yep I’ve got your back! #okay back to my editing cave before round two of college t shirt pop up sessions tonight because praise Jesus the sun is finally shining here in Houston! Nothing prepares you for the moment you take senio Nothing prepares you for the moment you take senior pics for your last “baby”… I picked up a camera because of them so I could capture their moments. I learned how to see light by watching it fall across their precious baby faces. I practiced editing techniques with one playing next to me at my desk and the other asleep in my arms. (One hand editing at its finest) I built a business to show them that you can be a mom AND an entrepreneur. And now…here we are, at what feels like a monumental full circle moment. Every picture, every photo session, every moment flashed in front of me. Hugs and tissues accepted. And a huge thank you to all of her teachers over the past 12 years! I nicknamed Sophie our very own California Aggie. I nicknamed Sophie our very own California Aggie. Except she’s not from California. But she iiiisssss going to be a Texas A&M Aggie. And as you can see the perfect little breeze and glowing sunshine followed her around our entire session soooooo….
