Miss L was one of my very first clients way back when….i photographed her when she turned 1, again when she turned 2 and then her family was dealt a harsh blow….you can read about her courageous battle with cancer HERE because this shoot was not about where they have been, nope,not at all, this shoot was about celebrating where they ARE NOW!  a celebration of her fight, of her life!!!!   it was all about miss l, we let her call the shots, she picked out her outfits in 4 year old fashion with a tone of independance, bit of spunk (hence the tiara she wore with one outfit change) and a voice of strength.  She took the lead, i did very little beside click away, and make a crazy face here and there…she showed every facet of her little personality and even “allowed” her little brother to hop in on a few pics.  We walked along chatting it up as if it had been just yesterday that we had, had our first shoot, who knows maybe she had so much fun at our 2nd year shoot she remembered me on some crazy kid level, heehee…well we can all agree she is a beauty and a little fighter at that.  a special thanks to lidia and the Tiny Sparrow Organization for being a part of this wonderful moment for this family.
