okay so if you follow my facebook you would have known that i had mentioned doing a photo a day about a week or so ago…while i have been trying to keep up i havent posted any because i figured yall might get bored with every day pics of my own kids EVERYDAY, plus i didnt want any pressure to only post pics that were up to chubby cheek standards bc my everyday real life doesnt always produce those types of pics ya know?! having said that, today’s pics were too funny and i had to post the shot that made the cut….there are a few things i thought yall could get out of this pic so why not right?!
1. you can truly shoot ANYWHERE, so why not take your camera to a random place every once in a while :), while camera phones are convienent a real camera pic is better.
2. grocery store lighting is rough, but it can be done….note, the natural white reflectors in the paper towel aisle, hahaha
3. them being THEM is PRICELESS…
so backstory: if you know us you know that we are a family of serious schedules, i mean i am not joke when it comes to routine. we go to the grocery store EVERY SINGLE MONDAY MORNING AT 10:30, seriously!!!! i have issues when mondays are holidays bc it throws my entire week off. plus if you remember this post you would know that i detest the afternoon crowd at HEB. so i always let the girls pick out their clothes on mondays, within reason of course;). we have ventured out on monday mornings in jammies, crazy mismatched clothes, even swimsuits, and as you can see today was not exception! no joke they asked to wear these today and i knew it would make the perfect photo a day shot so i obliged, nice mommy, sure, alterior motives OF COURSE, hahaha….anyhoo, enjoy! maybe i will post a few more here and there, bc the zoo shot from this weekend was pretty hilarious too 🙂
Seriously… I love you… I want to be you… how in the world you manage to come up with these brilliant ideas and then follow through with perfect execution is beyond this mommy… But this is why we have entered ShalondaLand… so I can have captured perfect moments hanging on my walls… P.S. we also take our fruit in pouches..wink!
Really adorable!
haha! i need to try this…way too cute and worth remembering when they’re teenagers!
This is the most adorable REAL pic, them being THEM –

i love this! makes me wanna take my camera along with me more.. 😉
Love it, gorgeous girls!!
So Adorable! Is this straight out of the camera? What settings did you use? Did you use Photoshop on this? Beginning photographer, I have a lot to learn.
my sweet angels are so darn precious
You have taken a natural photograph. It doesn’t matter that you have a camera phone or a professional camera. Cause your photograph is very much artistic where the emotion and freshness of these two kids are visible clearly. Thanks for sharing.
