i truly believe that each of you, no matter what kind of camera you have or dont have, no matter how perfect or imperfect our days can be, it needs to be captured…LIFE needs to be captured. As a group we hope to inspire you to take out that camera, capture a full day of YOUR life, capture your afternoon swinging at the park, or riding bikes to check the mail, any of it, all of it, just capture it! No one but your family will prob ever enjoy these images and hey they may not ever even be edited if you are a photog but the bottom line is someday you will look back and you will be so happy you have these memories captured.
PLEASE CONTINUE THROUGH THE CIRCLE by heading over to my incredibly amazing friend stephanie, this girl can balance it all, perfect images beautiful family life and well she is just plain pretty inside and out 😉

love it love it!~ like always you are always on top of your game ^^
Shalonda the way you use your light always captures me and wrap me up all snug and tight. I immediately get a sense of warmth and I swear I smell honeysuckle and BBQ. I now crave for those awesome summer nights where the kids play outside for hours. You would never know from your photos we are in winter…OK, Houston winter but it’s winter. The top right one is gorgeous and I hope you get that one blown up big because it’s magical.
shalonda, i think you could photograph them anywhere, doing anything, in the craziest light, and it would always be beautiful. the way you see them, they way you love them, is apparent in every image. you make childhood feel like that universal ideal. i love the mama you are, and the way you make the light and joy dance on them. xoxo
What a beautiful life, Shalonda. I love all the different angles you shoot from and.. for not having your camera most of the month, I’m super impressed by the moments you captured. That puzzle remains one of my kids’ favorite of all time. I credit it for their superb knowledge of US geography. 🙂
I swear your images could have their own soundtrack!! You are an enigma sweet girl!! The connection and beauty you find around you and share with us is such a gift!! I’m so blessed to call you a friend. It’s so obvious that you are such a beautiful soul and I just adore these images!!
Shalonda, look at these amazing images…love the light. That hula hoop shot and the feet behind the curtain…swoon. Gorgeousness over here…and all this without having your camera most of the month? love love
Another beautiful month. I love your perspective in the last ones, gorgeous. And I love your light airy editing here. Such a gorgeous month. And thanks for your kind words about me, I’m blushing 😉
Ohhh hon..these are beautiful. I love the one of your girls looking at the moon. And the one with the light into the bedroom…those little feet. love it.
Geez lady – your images ALWAYS blow me away! Seriously beautiful! I’m so happy we’re in this circle together. Yes, we will meet someday! xoxox Keep capturing the beauty of life. It’s amazing!
sometimes i believe i should have been a mother to two girls. maybe because i am a sister, with only one sister. and i think that is why i adore your posts so much. it’s so familar yet so unlike my adult life–out numbered by boys. you capture your girls so very sweetly. beautiful images this month…that light! that moon! those feet. love them all. xo
Beautiful images. I love how you capture real life so well.
Amen! Life does need to be captured. Honestly, what can be more beautiful?
yay … so glad you jumped in this month. you are surrounded by so much beauty, light and love. I adore the ones with the streaming light in the bedroom, the rollerskating ones (I LOVED rollerskating as a kid and can’t wait for b to try it out), and the two of them sitting and gazing up at the moon. love you friend! xoxo
these are all so incredible, but those toes peeking out under that curtain really speak to me. it is so obvious from your work just how much you love your girls, and how much they love each other. thanks for sharing your world with us all 🙂
