photographers need family pictures too y’all! Well I have traded every year with my sweet friend abby glenn from austin I don’t really even remember how we met or why we met but we were for sure MEANT to meet! we have traded family pics for 4 years! her pics are plastered all over my walls and mine grace her house! it’s the perfect way to do it, we shoot the session and hand over the card to each other! yes that means as a photographer you don’t get to scroll through and see “how you did” and it’s a bit of a vulnerable place as an artist because it’s like the old days of shooting where you had to shoot on film and wait 7 days for it to be developed and mailed back to you! but the most amazing part is you don’t have any extra pics to edit smack dab in the middle of busy season because we each get to edit our own pics on our own time!!!!! y’all its the best!!!!! I love abby as a friend, a photographer, a mom and a sounding board! not only do we trade pics but we are constantly talking about ideas, sets, editing issues, mom problems ha you name it we’ve talked about! it’s too bad she is all the way in austin 🙁 and not my next door neighbor…this is abby’s family, she edited these and sent them to me so i could share them bc her family is seriously perfections!
Such lovely photos! What a great tradition too. Is this greenhouse in Houston? I’m looking for a cute greenhouse like this for my wedding.
