so at the end of a session with me when we are going through the little details, you will ALWAYS hear me say, “….and your full gallery will be ready in two weeks….”. WHY TWO WEEKS?! is the question you are all itching to ask but way to polite to ask so i am going to show you. As you know i digitally hand edit the best of the best individual images from your session. without going into a loooong, wha wha wha boring explanation here is what i mean.
the image on the left is the image as i took it, straight out of my camera and put directly onto to my computer. The image in the right is clearly the digitally hand edited version. So see thats where the two weeks comes from : )
ps this is really putting myself out there most photogs dont really like to show any sooc images, eeeek
i think it is cool & very “sure of yourself” to do this.
you rock – this proves it is not only talent when you click the shutter, but after as well.
Wow, the comment above is so well said. Great model by the way, his parents be good looking 😉
I think it’s awesome that you posted this! Something I’ve always thought about doing so people know their session involves so much more than the click of the shutter. Maybe I’ll do this on my blog too. Except I tell me clients it will be four weeks, not two. So can you teach me how to edit more proficiently like you?! 🙂
I say you are great to put yourself out there. Great SOOC shoot too! Enjoy.
Well from a photographers point of view the SOOC shot is superb !! – there are just some things that a camera can not tweek which photoshop handles very well, this is an example of how much work is involved in a session 🙂
i think you did a fabulous job SOOC! the goal of any photographer is is get everything right SOOC and then let PS be that tool to enhance and make it shine – you are doing just that ! rock on girl.
