so i have mentioned this idea over the past two years here on the blog (like here and here) thinking it would make me finally take a moment to shoot for myself and to launch it, well it didnt….ha….i tried to launch it back in sept but it seemed like something crazy kept happening and getting in the way, i guess you could say the universe works in mysterious ways bc when mr b’s mom and i discussed possibly doing this her answers to my questions were so perfectly right, her feelings about it had such an ease and calmness, and my heart was ready to make it happen and after two years of sitting in my head( probably giving me a headache), it all fell into place….
one of the best things about having children is see’ing the world from a whole different perspective, colors are brighter, sugar is sweeter,  you live and love with abandon, and jumping off the front porch step seems like you just jumped off the empire state building. and the best part is all of these things, those views, that perspective…. it all changes every year as they grow up right in front of our eyes. So i have decided its time to capture it!!Â
The new pricing, starting in may, will now include the “all about me…” session. we can take it in many different directions, its a custom session…it can be a full session that includes an album, or it can be an add on to classic session and include a special keepsake. the point of the “all about me” session is to bring their dreams to life, to document your child at this moment as they really are, not a posed picture for your christmas card (not that there is anything wrong with that, hey we do, do that at the christmas minis right?!), but no this is ALOT OF FUN, ALL FOR THEM, and ALL ABOUT WHO THEY ARE right now at this very moment!Â
THE DIFFERENCE? the main difference between a classic portrait session and an “all about me” session, is the planning and the set up, aka props. We will continue to capture your child BEING him/herself at a classic sesssion, its all of the normal yumminess you are used to see’ing from me on this blog every weekend. these sessions are simply regular sessions pumped up, a little more customized and alot more planned…make sense? dont think im doggin’ my regular sessions peeps…hey i love capturing everyday moments, belly laughs and exploration and will always continue to do that for you at EVERY session 🙂
please feel free to email me with questions, or interest in this new session type and DONT BE AFRAID TO LEAVE A COMMENT and tell me what you think of it.
so without further adeiu enjoy mr b’s all about me session sneak peek….

This is GENIUS!! Pure genius…I absolutely love this idea, it’s such a great reminder of your child at that point in their life and is actually so much more meaningful than a traditional portrait session. Would you mind if I bring this idea to New Jersey?! 😉
I found your blog yesterday and I just can´t help myself of not looking your previous posts! Each one of them has something fun, unexpected childhood moments that you´ve captured so beautifully. The stars and globes set up is absolutely amazing and yet not overly complicated.
Just stubbled across your blog today and Im love. I LOVE this idea. Im a new photographer and the moment my favorite lens is my 50mm 1.8 (which I thought was funny since you suggested it) lol. I hope you dont mind me using this idea for my own son. lol.LOVE it.
LOVE THIS, LOVE THE IDEA AND ALL – Wonder if miss a is too young still for this? it still would be too adorable!
you amaze me as always!

I absolutely adore this! I have a 3-year-old little girl who is fascinated by the solar system and wants to be an astronaut when she grows up as well. She tells me she is going to “the moon and maybe even Mars” one day! 🙂 I have had an idea similar to this in my mind…and really…it’s so so so adorable!
