so i am still pouring sand out of my bikini bottoms and swimming in dirty laundry but all i can say is WOW!!!! hawaii was beyond words and daddy cheeks and i had the time of our lives! yes we missed our girls but to be able to walk to dinner and hold hands rather than two kids, a diaper bag, two highchair covers, a paci….you get the picture, lol! its been too long {sigh} it really was a gorgeous place and we had a fabulous time! Hubster is sunburned i am super tan, we stood in a waterfall that we hiked all alone to, daddy cheeks learned to surf (and did pretty great i might add), we drank many tropical drinks and even went on an atv tour (we saw where tons of scenes from lost were filmed for all of you Lost fans like us)….overall i would rate this vaca a 10! a special kiss to daddy cheeks for suprising me with a ticket to tag along with him for mothers day (he was going for work), lucky me i know! love ya hun

We had a week without our kids last week (they went on holiday, but we took time off work) and it was so quiet! Like you say, you miss them, but equally you appreciate the time with your partner.
I’m very jealous of your trip though, I’d love to go to Hawaii
