    Hi, Shalonda. Met your mom today at Dr. Heggen’s office and mentioned I was in town for my boyfriend’s photo show opening. She told me about your great talent and success with Chubby Cheek and she is certainly correct. Great perspective, creativity and joy in your work. Almost makes me wish I had children…

My own Texas A&M University Graduation was a day I My own Texas A&M University Graduation was a day I’ll never forget as I was the first person in all of my extended family to attend and graduate from college. The engineering degree was the cherry on top! Capturing this gorgeous Aggie’s photos was pretty emotional too since I have been capturing her since she was a kindergarten graduate! My first official full circle client!!! To have been photographing this family’s special moments for so many years is truly humbling! I love them! They have become real friends, I am so proud of this beauty and everything I have watched her accomplish + I can’t wait to see what’s next! Oh and her sister is coming up in the high school senior class of 2027 so eeeeek! Nothing prepares you for the moment you take senio Nothing prepares you for the moment you take senior pics for your last “baby”… I picked up a camera because of them so I could capture their moments. I learned how to see light by watching it fall across their precious baby faces. I practiced editing techniques with one playing next to me at my desk and the other asleep in my arms. (One hand editing at its finest) I built a business to show them that you can be a mom AND an entrepreneur. And now…here we are, at what feels like a monumental full circle moment. Every picture, every photo session, every moment flashed in front of me. Hugs and tissues accepted. And a huge thank you to all of her teachers over the past 12 years!
