    awww t yu are so sweet just start it by taking one single pic today, dont put any pressure on yourself to do it every day or every week, just take out your camera again at one unexpected moment sometime soon…thats all you need to to make it successful for yall

Boy moms are so fun to work with, plus they follow what to wear guidelines from my PDFs so well!!!! Senior guys show up, take posing/ prompt direction, flash a smile or two and bam we out in less than an hour! If you scrolled you know words fail me! I’ve been photographing this senior since he was born! Funny story, fate and the woodlands pottery barn kids store brought his mom and I together 18 years ago! And as Aggies do, we have been connected ever since! I have captured + celebrated first steps, baby brothers, kindergarten and everything in between with them! It’s the Monday’est of Mondays and Houston Marie i It’s the Monday’est of Mondays and Houston Marie is misbehaving with this weather but SCROLL TO THE END to see what makes 20 years of photographer weather stress and late nights editing photoshoots all worth it to photographers like me! This is just a single snippet of years and years of capturing miss C’s life moments…I have been photographing her since she was a baby but this was her session before she started kindergarten! And now here we are sharing a sneak peek of her senior session before she starts college. I have already had so many full circle moments like this because most of my clients who trusted me back 20 years ago are still with me today. And I think as photographers we don’t tend to let the gravity of what we do and how intertwined our lives are with are clients sink in. As a mom and photographer getting to capture these milestone moments from first steps to stepping on that graduation stage for so many kids and families feels unreal to me! Today, I’m just feeling grateful and thankful for each and every client who has invited me to be a part of their moments.

The jaw drop is my fav! The texas gulf coast in the fall never disappoints! I have been so busy sharing high school senior photos that I haven’t posted many family sessions and a little birdie told me a friend/family member was hoping to see a family session or two (you know who you are ha) sooooooo I’m about to mix it up and toss some amazing family photos on this grid. And I had to start with this beautiful family who roadtripped all the way from Arizona to snag a beach session before their oldest heads off to college!!!! As a two time recent graduate of the high school senior mom rollercoaster university + a senior photographer these lyrics are so good and so true! If you are a current senior mom I know exactly what you’re feeling. I know the emotional uneasiness that sits in your heart and your brain every day. And I am here for you! As a senior photographer (and mom of back to back senior girls) I know what you are feeling if you’re the high school senior reading this. Here is the thing yes I’m here to take your senior pics, pose you, pick locations with you, style you and even send over my hair and makeup people but you know what else I have experience with?! What type of picture you need for sorority recruitment, planning the perfect timing for your college t shirt mini because let’s face it half of us won’t know where we are going until mid March! I’m here to talk your mom through your rush packet or you through SEC recruitment skills or even give you alllll of the dorm buying and decorating tricks! Moving to another state for college? Yep I can certainly give you all of the tips for that! Meal prepping in a dorm? Guess what?! I’ve got you! GUUUUYYYYSSSS! I have walked this path for two years straight as a mom, as a senior photographer and as a guide to my own girls! So yeah when you come to me I can take pretty senior pics for you but I have so much more to offer you than simply that.
