You celebrated the first birthday with ease because Pinterest is full of ideas for the very first birthday celebrations here in The Woodlands. But now what?! As a mom to two tweens I have captured birthday celebrations at every stage! I know from experience these birthday seem to come faster with each passing year. And I also know that the 13th celebration is just as important at the 1st. Plus let’s be real, these later birthday are the ones THEY actually remember!

A Dreamy Celebration
Think sparkles, stars, clouds and whimsical details galore! The Head in the cloud Mini session event was one of my most popular girls mini session setup in Houston and has even been replicated all over the world! You can easily create these clouds and hang them with fishing wire above the cake table with a box of batting and some cardboard cut into the shape of clouds. The best part is you can use this theme for ANY age! It would be an adorable slumber party for older girls or a sweet theme for One year celebrations! 2. A Sugary Sweet Tea party treat
This might be one of my all time favorite sibling photoshoots but it is also the perfect party theme. The best part about this birthday party theme is you don’t have to do it in your house! You can set it up outside in your yard or find a local Bakery and rent a room to host the party. We are lucky enough to live near Bake Shoppe and Cafe in Cypress and they also happened to create the beautiful desserts for this shoot. This party is all about the sweet treats and florals so it’s girly girl at its finest.
3. A Boho Bash
This is the ultimate older girl or baby girl birthday bash! And why not hire your favorite child photographer (not raising my hand or anything) to come capture your birthday girl with a few of her closest friends in an unforgettable way. Not to mention we have tons of Volkswagen Vans in all colors available to rent here in the Greater Houston area. Shoot me and email if you need help finding any. 4. Rainbows Rule
Rainbows can be the perfect Party theme but you don’t have to take them so literal. Rather than use actual rainbows just sprinkle the party with rainbow colors! This backdrop was so simple to create and could be used as a photo station for a teen party or sweet decors for a younger child. All I did was order various shades of paper but you could also used plastic table cloths. Then layer them on top of each other over a backdrop stand.
