Have Beach will Travel
I am not going to lie to you, I was always that kid that got “sick” in the middle of the night at sleepovers. You know the one who’s poor parents had to wake up at 1 am to a sleepy phonically to come get them, yep that was me! This trend had followed me as an adult ha as I’ve too you I rarely leave my family for work stuff and when I do it’s the lead amount of time possible, like I’ve been known to fly in do a shoot and take the red eye back out so I’m home when my girls wake up for school the next day. Having said all of this, YALL! I am so enthralled with shooting families on beautiful beaches all over this great big nation we live in. Each beach is different, each place has it’s own challenges but al its own beauty, then you add in these incredible families and I am in photographer heaven!
Family Photography Beach Bucketlist
So I have shot at several different florida beaches, I got to experience Tahoe not once but TWICE, of course I’ve shot all over my own great state of texas and the beaches we have here and even in HAWAII (i’d sure like to go back there for some family session), my favorite beach in the world Grand Cayman… but where else? I need a legit bucket list of beaches that I can check off every year before this photography gig is up for me. I’m not going to lie to you Jekyll Island has to be on that list, family session in hawaii wouldn’t be awful ha and I’ve always wanted to shoot on those amazing OC beaches in California.
Amelia Island Florida made me gasp
I loved shooting these sessions and teaching two nights of beach photography classes in Amelia Island I am for sure going back there for some sessions this year, maybe september-ish? who wants to meet me there? pretty please y’all look how beautiful this place was!
